Here's another Korean inspired "Cushion" makeup. This is a liquid eyeshadow, which is meant to act as a primer, eyeshadow and topcoat, with a metallic finish.
The colours I have here are:
Silk: a copper-ish rose gold with a metallic finish and gold glitter. Much more opaque and a thicker consistency than Suede.
Suede: a dark chocolate brown with gold glitter, but not very metallic. Lighter consistency than Silk (watery).
It comes with a large silicone applicator, which does a decent job of packing on the product, but not suitable for blending.
It is described to be a long lasting colour on your lids that lasts all day.
My thoughts:
Firstly I really find the whole "Cushion" system a bit too gimmicky. I don't think it adds to the quality of the product or ease of use.
As for the staying power, it needs to be used with a primer or it will crease. The glitter does stick around, however the base colour tends to fade out slightly.
Although I don't see the point of these eye polishes I don't regret having bought them, especially the colour Silk. Upon initial application Silk looks great, however Suede isn't anything special.
I would recommend using Suede as a base coat or a simple every day eyeshadow (smoked out). Silk is best used as a top coat to add some sparkles to the look.
