Foiled Gun Metal Eyeshadow Look

This is a gorgeous foiled party look, achieved using the Makeup Revolution
Awesome Metals in the shade Black Diamond. These Awesome Metals are dupes for the Stila Magnificent Metal Foil Finish Eyeshadows.

Prime
As always prime your lids with an eyeshadow primer or a shadow base. This step will help intensify the colour pay off and prevent creasing.
I used MAC's paint pot in Soft Ocre.

Highlight
Use a flat shader brush to apply a light pearly shadow around the tear duct area and under the brows. Only keep this shadow on the high points of the brow bone.
I used Virgin from the Urban Decay Naked palette.

Crease
With a fluffy blending brush apply a bronzed/ tan colour to the crease, using a windshield wiper motion. This should lightly overlap the brow highlight.
I used MAC's Texture.

Lids
Apply a glittery black shadow to the outer half of the lid and blend the edge with a small blending brush or a pencil brush. You don't want to blend this too far out.
I used Loreal Infallible eyeshadow in the colour Eternal Black.

Now for the star of the show, the Black Diamond foil shadow. Using a flat synthetic brush apply this to the inner half of the lid and slightly overlap the black shadow (without any additional products on the brush). This will create a seamless transition.

Lower Lash Line
Using a chisel brush apply the black shadow to the lash line and blend it out with the tan blending colour.

Liner
This look will look just as good without the liner, however, I decided to just go for it.
Draw on a winged liner to the upper lid using your choice of liner. Also line the upper and lower water line using a black liner.
I used Stila Smudge Pot in the colour Black.

Lashes
Apply a mascara of your choice to the upper and lower lashes.
False lashes are a must for this look, as it really pulls the look together. Apply lashes that compliment your eye shape.

Hope this was helpful.

Have fun playing with your makeup :)
